Matt barnes and hot mess Gloria

Matt Barnes released a statement Wednesday about his breakup wtih Gloria Govan in which he says that she cheated on him with one of his friends.

Barnes, currently on the Lakers' roster, said that he and Govan pretended to be in a relationship even after they broke up in May because it would help Govan's career and her show on VH1.

Barnes said the real reason that they broke up was because of Govan's infidelity, not the rumors surrounding his relationship with A-list acress Eva Longoria, which Longoria and Barnes deny.

Here's the statement he released Wednesday through his publicist, Courtney Merfeld: "In May, Gloria and I decided to separate and in the best interest of her career, I foolishly agreed to portray that we were still together for the upcoming season of her show on VH1.

"As recently as August we decided to revisit a joint statement of our separation, but Gloria asked to delay making our separation public for the interest of her show. It is ironic now how Gloria is trying to manipulate the professional relationship between Eva Longoria and myself as the sole reason for our separation, when she knows we split up in May.

"The reason I broke my silence and released the separation statement a month ago, was due to her on going affair with a former friend of mine. Again, I wish her nothing but the best and I will continue to keep our children as my first priority."

Ron artest dating? or married

Some of you were inquiring about Ron Artest’s date at the Samsung event in Hollywood yesterday. Well, according to loyal reader Misty G., she’s his mistress, Shin Shin (or one of his mistresses).

I’m not surprised. But this is so messy.

Ron’s wife, Kimsha Hatfield, is @Msmish37Laker on Twitter. That’s her on the left with Chanita Foster at a recent Lakers game. I think I’ll head on over to Twitter and ask her what she thinks about all this.

Chris Bosh's wife Adrienne expecting a baby, the couple's first

BA star Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne Williams-Bosh are expecting their first child,according to the New York Post's Page Six. It's a boy, the paper reports, and friends of the couple say they are "over the moon" about "baby Bosh." 

The Boshes were married in July in Miami; Chris Bosh, 27, is a 6'11 power forward and has played for the Miami Heat since 2010. He previously played for the Toronto Raptors and Georgia Tech in college. The wedding celebration in July was actually their second celebration - the couple wed in secret in April 2011. The celebrities at the July wedding reception included Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Pat Riley, coach Erik Spoelstra, Serena Williams and Larsa and Scottie Pieppen
